NATHAN BLACKWELL (Creator / Writer / Director)

Phoenix-based filmmaker Nathan Blackwell has directed over forty short films, two low-to-no budget feature films, and won twenty-three awards for filmmaking. For his screenplay, THE TRANSGALACTIC ZOO, he was one of ten finalists in Final Draft's Big Break Screenwriting Competition and a Semi-Finalist in the Ultimate Filmmaker Challenge. His current projects include the sci-fi comedy web series VOYAGE TREKKERS and the conclusion to his previous web series NORMALLY THIS WEIRD. His films have featured ninjas, gentleman super spies, cross dressers, rectal-probing aliens, fortune tellers, face-melting nazis, suburban mad scientists, melodramatic role-playing nerds, magic-casting teenagers, and (of course) zombies.

ADAM RINI (Captain Sunstrike)

Adam Rini is an actor living in Arizona who has worked in both theater and film in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Manhattan. His work has been screened at the The New York Short Shorts Festival, the Phoenix Film Festival, Phoenix ComiCon, The Sedona Film Festival, DragonCon, The International Sci-Fi Film Festival, and the 2010 Cannes Film Festival where he won an award for his film BLIND DATE. He is a founding member of the sketch comedy group Bully Mammoth who have had a successful stage show for 3 years running and are in the process of shooting a television pilot. He has stared in several web series including NORMALLY THIS WEIRD and VOYAGE TREKKERS for Squishy Studios, as well as SMALL PIES and DELIVERIES for Story Bird films. Recently he performed in George Lopercio’s theatrical premiere of MOURNING BREADTH performed on stage at the News School For Drama. A critical success, the play is being considered for a film adaptation by Limitrophe Films.
